Vintage items are a never ending story. As the story builds, so does the wear of the item. Some stories come in the form of distressed and faded colors, others come in the form of holes and tears.
A vintage item is considered to be at least 20 years old. We consider any preowned item to be vintage—even if it's slightly less than 20 years old.
The story unfolds in the details of the product—featured in the product photos and description—so that you know exactly where to start yours.
Due to the vintage wear and hand-made alteration on the softened or distressed fabric, it's possible for the stitch to act on it's own in the form of:
Fabric pulling, small holes, and/or fraying of the thread.
It's all part of the story—keeping your product a one-of-a-kind item.
No, changes cannot be made to shipping information after the order is placed.

Products are described as detailed as possible—how it feels, fits, and of course, how it looks.
Take a look at the product tags for the best care instructions. Not seeing a tag on the vintage piece? Go figure.
In this case, we recommend either hand wash, or machine wash cold and tumble dry low (remove promptly from wash to avoid wrinkles).
Please note:
Second-hand products are subject to different detergents, fabric softeners, and household pets from previous owners. Off Center Clothing washes all products with unscented mild detergent before shipping. If you are sensitive to any of these factors, please consider professional cleaning prior to first use.
The "Behind The Story" collection are products with a stitch that holds meaning beyond the word itself.
Some stitches are a play on word(s) or a simple design, others have may have a layered tribute.
Off Center Clothing breaks off the screen sometimes (ie. live events). All products are available in real time, online and in-person. The announcement bar is a heads up that more eyes will be on the store that day.
If an item in your online cart is purchased at an event, you may no longer see it when you go to check out.
*If there’s an overlap between your purchase and a pop up sale, you will be notified and refunded in full to the credit card on file.

If the item that was in your online cart is not showing at checkout, it is likely to have sold at a live pop up event offline.
Every product page is down to the last thread in details and photos, so no need to hesitate when getting ready to check out — you already know what’s waiting for you!
*All live pop-ups will be announced on socials and highlighted in the announcement bar so you know when you may be crunched for time.
The thank you “scrap” in your package is made from material that was used in the drop. Looking to use every last piece of thread, thank you scraps are also one of a kind—start a collection.
